Deauville hosts top quality racing throughout August and during this weekend the feature races are the Group 1 Prix Morny and the Group I Prix Jean Romanet.
The Prix Morny, for 2-year-olds, is run over 6 furlongs. In 2012, the favourite Reckless Abandon continued his unbeaten record ahead of Ballydoyle’s George Vancouver and Parliament Square. The Prix Jean Romanet, for mares of 4 years and older, is run over 1¼ miles. The race was won by Snow Fairy but she was subsequently disqualified.
Once again we are pleased to offer the choice of two tours to Deauville. Travel by air from London City Airport or by luxury VIP coach from Victoria Coach Station.
At the time of publication, flights to Deauville and back are shown to operate only on Fridays and Sundays.

Enjoy an afternoon’s racing at Deauville where the feature races today are two Group I races, the Prix Morny and the Prix Jean Romanet. Return to your hotel after racing or stay to watch the Sales, which commence immediately following racing.

Morning at leisure until your coach departs for your return journey to London.

Last year we introduced travel to Deauville by luxury coach and this proved to be so successful that we are delighted to confirm that we shall be operating this luxury VIP coach once again in 2013. Sit back, relax and travel in our luxury, private coach. The Channel crossing will be via the Folkestone - Calais route with Eurotunnel. Our modern, air-conditioned coach is equipped with 32 fully reclining leather seats arranged around tables, an on-board toilet, WiFi and multi media equipment. Our Horse Racing Abroad representative, who will accompany you during the weekend, will welcome you on board with a glass (or two) of champagne and a complimentary copy of The Racing Post. A variety of fine wines and champagne, together with soft drinks, tea, coffee and snacks will be available throughout the journey. A quality buffet lunch will be served at your table from our on-board kitchen.
