Last year's tour to Hong Kong was a tremendous success and so we are delighted to be able to repeat this tour to give you an opportunity to travel to Hong Kong to enjoy the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Races that will take place at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday 12 December.

This superb day's racing includes four Group I Championship events worth a combined HK$62 million. The highlight of the Cathay Pacific International Races, and the richest horse race in Hong Kong, is the HK$20 million Group I Hong Kong Cup. In 2009 there was a field of 10 horses and locally based Collection was sent off the odds-on favourite. Vision D'Etat, winner of the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot but a distant 10th in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in the October, took up the running in the straight and, although Collection tried valiantly, he was unable to catch Vision d'Etat who won by ¾ length with Presvis a further 2½ lengths back in third place.
