The Dubai World Cup is now firmly established as a premier event in the worldwide racing calendar, with its top quality field of participants from across the globe - a day of truly international racing.

In 2010 the total guaranteed prize money for the day will amount to US$26.25 Million! The feature race, The Dubai World Cup, had previously been run on dirt at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse but, in 2010, it will be run on Teapeta for the first time at Meydan Racecourse. This race is worth US$10 million and The Dubai Duty Free and Dubai Sheema Classic, both run on turf, are each worth US$5. There are five other top-class supporting Group races.

We are delighted to be returning to Dubai for this exciting event in 2011 and are able to offer a choice of two magnificent beach-front properties; the 5 Star Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa and, for those seeking a quieter escape, the luxurious 5 Star One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel, a sea of tranquility!

MEYDAN RACECOURSE

Meydan Racecourse opened in January 2010 and will host its first Dubai World Cup in March 2010. The racecourse project cost US$2 Billion to build and has become the most up to date and luxurious racetrack in the world. Sheikh Mohammed created this venture that has everything the horse racing enthusiast could dream of and more.
