It is more than 10 years since our last visit to Barbados and, therefore, we are very pleased to be able to offer you the chance to enjoy this unique island once again. At the Garrison Savannah, the home of Barbados horse racing since the colonial days of 1845, you can enjoy the atmosphere of race day Caribbean style! Less than two miles outside the capital, Bridgetown, the racetrack used to be the parade ground of the British Regiment where its officers, stationed in Barbados, used to match their horses in races with those of wealthy local merchants and planters. The Barbados Turf Club provides racing from January to April, May to August and from October to December each year and we shall experience an afternoon of racing at the Garrison Savannah racecourse to include full hospitality.

Barbados is a gem in the Caribbean Sea and its renowned West Coast is home to some of the world's f nest and best-known hotels. Barbados is distinctly Caribbean and yet retains a fabulously British feel, with local names such as Worthing, Hastings and Trafalgar Square. The island offers a huge choice of diversions including internationally acclaimed restaurants, water sports such as catamaran cruises or snorkeling and championship golf courses. The rugged East Coast, with its wild landscapes and crashing waves, is an awesome sight and well worth a visit for the views along the coast from Bathsheba.
